Return of Goods

 

 

"Non Sale" items can only be returned with the express approval of Caravan Camping & Marine.

 

 

 

Change of Mind

 


In the event that you have simply changed your mind about a product you have purchased you have 14 days from the date of order to advise us. We will only accept its return if the original packaging is intact and that you meet the full return freight costs. Once we have received the returned product it will be assessed and only if it is in a condition that allows us to resell it in new condition will a Credit Note be issued. All such returns will be subject to a 15% administration and re-stocking fee. In addition, our costs associated with freighting the product to you where the value of your order qualified for free delivery will be deducted from the Credit Note. No refunds will be issued.

 

 

Product Exchange

 

 

In the event that you have ordered the wrong size or colour we will exchange your original goods providing you have contacted us within 14 days from the date of order. We will then only accept its return if the original packaging is intact and that you meet the full return freight costs. Once we have received the returned product it will be assessed and only if it is in a condition that allows us to resell it in new condition will we exchange the item. All such returns will be subject to a 15% administration and re-stocking fee. In addition, our costs associated with freighting the product to you where the value of your order qualified for free delivery will be charged. If the total value of the exchanged item plus the administartion and freight fees is less than the original item a Credit Note will be issued. No refunds will be made.

 

 

Faulty Product

 

 

If a product is faulty then we will seek to either find a local repairer who can make good any fault, or if necessary liaise with you to arrange the return of the product to us. Once the nature of the fault has been established we will either repair or replace at our choice so long as the fault is deemed to be under the terms of the warranty applicable to the product. Goods accepted for credit or refund (at our discretion) must be in the original condition and packaging, including any manauls and documentation.We will always try to use a local service agent to fix the fault, however sometimes this is not always possible.The buyer maybe required to send the item back to us or our service agent in a fully packaged condition. Shipping is not covered under the waranty.

If your purchase has been over the freight free limit $150.00 for free freight and a product is returned under warranty if the new total is under $150.00 the freight will be charged ie refund price less freight cost.

 

Should a product be returned to us and a fault or damage is found to be have been caused by (but not limited to) faulty installation, misuse or abuse, no liability to repair, replace or refund shall exist on the part of Caravan Camping & Marine.

 

 

Warranties


 

All the products we sell come with a manufacturers warranty.Some products have a specified time guarantee. Items with this type of guarantee usually state the time period on the product information card or docket. Some products are sold with a ‘lifetime’ guarantee, guaranteeing that the item will stand up to the use for which it was designed for. This type of warranty or guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper care, accidents or the natural breakdown of the materials over time. This type of warranty or guarantee covers material, design and production faults. The warranty commences the day of purchase.


Please keep your sales dockets for warranty purposes. Warranties will not be honored without proper proof of purchase. The warranty on the item(s) only covers the original owner. Caravan Camping & Marine at their own discretion, reserve the right to replace or repair any item found to be defective.

 

Material, design or production faults are rare. If you find your product to be defective please contact us. Some products may be covered by an International warranty agreement. Contact us before returning any item(s).

 

In the event or case of damage to an item due to accident or improper care, we can arrange to have the item(s) repaired at a reasonable charge. Freight will be the responsibility of the customer. A quote including return freight will be given.
